The male victim, 44, was in the listed area when the suspect struck the victim multiple times with a bat. The victim was treated at an area hospital and was uncooperative with the officers. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
2. Attempted Armed Robbery (1045) 2300 Block of West Hammer Lane, Bear Creek District
The female victim, 19, was working at an area business when the suspect entered, pointed a firearm at the victim, and demanded property. The victim ran toward the back of the business, and the suspect fled on foot. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
3. Battery on an Officer (1225) El Dorado Street and Oak Street, Civic District
Officers conducted a checkout on the suspects. As they attempted to detain one, he pulled away and attempted to flee. While officers struggled with the suspect, a crowd gathered surrounding the officers. A suspect kicked an officer, another suspect shoved an officer, and one suspect threw an object at the officers
and stole an officer’s property. ARRESTED: #1: A 16-year-old juvenile for resisting arrest and battery on an officer. #2: A 17-year-old juvenile for resisting arrest and battery on an officer. #3 German Luciano, 26, for resisting arrest, battery on an officer, theft, and possession of stolen property.
