Officers responded to the listed area regarding a vehicle collision. On arrival, officers located a victim of a shooting, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital and listed in stable condition. There is no suspect information.
2. Resisting Arrest (2213) 6500 Block of El Capitan Circle, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to the listed area regarding a disturbance. When the officers attempted to detain the suspect, he resisted, and force was used to take him into custody. The suspect was
uninjured. ARRESTED: Situang Lin, 47, for elder abuse and resisting arrest charges.
3. Homicide (2250) 3300 Block of East Main Street, Park District
The male victim, 21, and the suspects were involved in an altercation. As the suspects fled, they hit the victim with their vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives responded to assist with the investigation.
4. Person Shot (2326) Shimizu Avenue and Ryde Avenue, Civic District
The male victim, 47, was driving through the listed area when an unknown suspect shot at his car. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. There is no suspect information.
