Incident #: 2026-2748Burglary
Date/Time: Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 8:21 a.m.
Location: Hyatt Regency - 201 Carnegie Center Drive

Details:
Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle burglary. The victim reported that between Friday, January 30, 2026 and Sunday, February 1, 2026, an unknown suspect forcibly pried open a locked toolbox mounted in the bed of his work truck. Multiple tools, including Milwaukee-brand power tools, batteries, chargers, and hand tools, were stolen. The victim estimated the value of the stolen items at approximately $3,950. The remaining toolboxes appeared to have been rummaged through. No evidence was located at the scene.

Suspect Description:
Black male, wearing a black beanie, sky-blue sweater, black pants, black shoes, and a black trench coat draped over his shoulder.

Details:
Police responded to MarketFair for a report of a suspicious person / previous shoplifter. Through investigative means, it was determined that the suspect entered Barnes & Noble, concealed twelve candles inside a tote bag, and exited the store without paying. The stolen merchandise was valued at approximately $456. The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a white SUV believed to be a Chevrolet Traverse.


Incident #: 2026-3052 - Shoplifting
Date/Time: Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 12:59 p.m.
Location: Target - 500 Nassau Park Blvd

Accused: Terell M. Smith - 41y/o male out of Trenton, NJ

Suspect Description:
Black female wearing a black jacket, black pants, grey hooded sweatshirt with hood up, and a dark-colored baseball hat.


Details:
Police met with Target Loss Prevention regarding a shoplifting that occurred on January 29, 2026 at approximately 1:47 p.m. The suspects were observed selecting Champion clothing, multiple Lego sets, and stuffed animals before placing the items into a shopping cart. Both subjects then bypassed all points of sale and exited the store without rendering payment. Surveillance footage was reviewed and confirmed the account provided by Loss Prevention. Terell M. Smith of Trenton, NJ was positively identified through investigative means and a complaint summons was generated. The investigation remains ongoing.

Date/Time: Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 2:38 a.m.
Location: US Route 1 northbound near Carnegie Center

Accused: Ronald S. Avilamoreno – 34 y/o male out of Elizabethport, NJ
 

Details:
While on patrol on US Route 1 northbound, officers observed a black Nissan Rogue traveling below the posted speed limit and repeatedly failing to maintain its lane, crossing over both dashed lane markings and the solid white fog line. A motor vehicle stop was conducted near Carnegie Center.  Upon contact with the driver, identified as Ronald S. Avilamoreno of Elizabethport, NJ, officers detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Avilamoreno exhibited slurred speech, inconsistent statements, and difficulty operating the vehicle. An open can of Modelo beer was observed on the passenger-side floorboard.  Avilamoreno failed the field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DWI. A subsequent search of the vehicle located additional open and empty beer cans and a glass smoking pipe. At police headquarters, Avilamoreno refused to provide sufficient breath samples during the Alcotest and was additionally charged with refusal. He was processed and released with summonses and a pending court date.


 

Incident #: 2026-3155 - Shoplifting
Date/Time: Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
Location: Target - 500 Nassau Park Blvd

Accused: Leticia L. Ceaser – 21 y/o female out of Trenton, NJ


Details:
Police responded to Target for a report of a shoplifting in progress. Loss Prevention detained Leticia L. Ceaser after observing her select various items and conceal merchandise inside her handbag. Surveillance footage confirmed Ceaser concealed items before proceeding to the checkout area, where she paid for a small number of items but failed to pay for additional concealed merchandise.  Ceaser was placed under arrest for shoplifting and transported to police headquarters for processing. During processing, it was discovered she had two active warrants out of Trenton and Ewing. She was released on the Trenton warrant pursuant to Mercer County procedures and subsequently turned over to Ewing Police on the outstanding warrant.


Incident #: 2026-3381 - Shoplifting
Date/Time: Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 1:12 p.m.
Location: Marshall’s - 3495 US Route 1

Suspect Description:
Black female wearing a tan puffer jacket with the hood up, medical mask, blue jeans, and tan lace-up boots.

Details:
Police responded to Marshall’s for a past-tense shoplifting. Loss Prevention reported that on February 7, 2026 at approximately 9:42 a.m., the suspect entered the store and selected 23 items from multiple departments. The suspect held the merchandise in her hands, walked past all points of sale, and exited the store without rendering payment.  The investigation remains ongoing.



Incident #: 2026-3557 - Shoplifting
Date/Time: Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 11:57 a.m.
Location: Home Depot - 710 Nassau Park Blvd

Accused: Natqwan Cameron – 47 y/o male out of Trenton, NJ

Details:
Police responded to Home Depot for a reported shoplifting where the suspect fled on foot toward Dollar Tree. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Loss Prevention advised that the suspect entered the store and select three items from the tool department before concealing the merchandise on his person in a less crowded aisle. The suspect then proceeded toward the main entrance, where Loss Prevention confronted him in the vestibule. The suspect fled on foot and dropped a concealed socket set while running. The merchandise was recovered and valued at approximately $26.00. Through investigative means, the suspect was identified as Natqwan Cameron of Trenton, NJ. A complaint warrant was generated and approved by the court.

Suspect Description:
Unknown individual(s). Victim reported observing a black vehicle circling the parking lot prior to the incident.

Details:
Police responded to Travis Court for a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that she parked her vehicle at approximately 4:30 p.m. on February 10, 2026. At approximately 7:45 a.m. the following morning, she observed the rear liftgate open and the vehicle owner’s manual missing from the glove compartment. The victim also observed a minor dent to the front license plate and believed air had been let out of the front passenger-side tire, although the tire remained functional. She stated she had all sets of keys and was certain the vehicle was locked.

Location: Wawa - 3499 US Route 1

Accused: Dennys Valerio – 48 y/o female out of Trenton, NJ

Details:
Police responded to Wawa for a report of an erratic driver possibly operating while intoxicated. Upon arrival, officers observed a white Subaru Outback traveling southbound on Route 1 swerving between lanes and failing to maintain its lane of travel. A motor vehicle stop was conducted.  Upon contact with the driver, identified as Dennys Valerio of Trenton, NJ, officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Valerio exhibited watery eyes, droopy eyelids, slow speech, and appeared disoriented. Additional officers responded to assist. Valerio failed the field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DWI.  During a search of the vehicle, officers located an almost empty bottle of liquor concealed beneath the front dashboard area. The vehicle was impounded. Valerio was processed at police headquarters and released with summonses and a pending court date.

Suspect Description:
Unknown male wearing all dark clothing. Suspect arrived in a dark-colored Tesla.

Details:
Police responded to Hereford Drive for a report of burglaries to motor vehicles. The victim reported that at approximately 7:35 a.m. he observed items from his vehicle’s center console placed on the passenger seat and noticed his son’s vehicle parked in the driveway with the driver’s door slightly ajar. After reviewing home surveillance footage, the victim observed a dark-colored Tesla drive past his residence and stop. A rear passenger exited the vehicle, entered the victim’s vehicle through the driver’s door, and rummaged through the interior. The suspect was then observed entering a second vehicle at the residence and rummaging through that vehicle as well before leaving the area. Later in the day, the suspect vehicle was located abandoned with the victim’s vehicle registration card inside. The vehicle was also connected to a prior motor vehicle theft reported in this jurisdiction. The investigation remains ongoing.

Details:
Police responded to the West Windsor Police Department lobby for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. A project manager reported that a 2006 white GMC pickup truck was stolen from a construction site on Washington Road. The investigation remains ongoing.

Suspect:
Black male wearing a blue/tan North Face jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers, blue North Face baseball hat with white front panel, carrying a black bag. The suspect had a distinctive mole on the left side of his nose.

Details:
Patrol responded to Gap for a past-tense shoplifting investigation. The suspect entered the store through the Gap Baby entrance at 10:17 AM and selecting merchandise from that section. The suspect then approached the adult register and attempted to return the items he had just selected.


Incident # 2026-3891 – Shoplifting

Location: Whole Foods Market - 3495 US Route 1

Accused: Catherine Lanzetta – 52 y/o female out of East Windsor, NJ

Details:
Patrol responded to Whole Foods Market for a report of shoplifting. Loss prevention advised that Lanzetta entered the store and shopped for groceries and clothing. While at the register, she was observed sliding a second bag of unpaid merchandise along the side of the register and out of the cashier’s view. She passed all points of sale without rendering payment and attempted to exit the store before being stopped by loss prevention. The total value of the merchandise was $217.21.


Incident # 2026-4022 – Shoplifting

Location: Ulta Beauty - 540 Nassau Park Blvd.

Suspects:
• Black male, approximately 40–50 years old, wearing a black beanie with white stripes, black jacket, grey hoodie, black pants, and black sneakers.
• Black male, approximately 40–50 years old, wearing a black beanie, black jacket, khaki pants, black sneakers, carrying a cream-colored backpack.
• Black male, approximately 30–50 years old, wearing a black zip-up hoodie, black pants, and tan work boots.
• Black male, approximately 40–50 years old, wearing a grey flat-brim hat with Raiders logo, black puffer jacket, black pants, and black sneakers.

Details:
Patrol responded to Ulta Beauty for a past-tense shoplifting investigation. A manager reported that four males were involved in the theft of three fragrance gift sets valued at $446.00. Two suspects entered the store and proceeding to the fragrance department. While one suspect distracted a fragrance associate, the second suspect removed two fragrance gift sets from the shelf and concealed them inside his jacket before exiting the store without payment. Two additional suspects entered the store and were observed interacting with the earlier suspects inside the fragrance department. While one suspect engaged the associate in conversation, another removed a fragrance gift set from the shelf and concealed it in his coat. They then entered a red Kia SUV and left the area.
 


Incident #: 2026-4810 – Burglary
Date/Time: Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 3:27 p.m.
Location: Business on Station Drive

Details:
Police responded to a reported burglary at a business. An employee reported that the office was last secured on February 20, 2026. When staff returned on February 24, 2026, they discovered the front door unlocked and an office-issued Apple iPhone XS, along with its charging adaptor, missing from a desk. The phone was described as silver in color and valued at approximately $1,000. The rear shipping door was found closed but slightly ajar. The incident remains under investigation.

Marlon Orellana Gonzalez – 37 y/o male out of Ewing, NJ
Guilmar Bonilla Valdes – 21 y/o male out of Trenton, NJ

Details:
Police responded to Target for a report of shoplifting. Loss Prevention personnel detained two males after observing them select numerous items from multiple departments within the store. The individuals proceeded to self-checkout, where they scanned and paid for one item, but then pushed the remaining merchandise past all points of sale without rendering payment. A third individual who had been with the males inside the store was also identified during the investigation. Store personnel scanned the merchandise in the cart and determined the unpaid items totaled approximately $867. During a search incident to arrest, an additional Anker phone charger valued at $55 was recovered from one of the individuals. Both subjects were placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters for processing, charged with Shoplifting, and later released with summonses pending future court appearances.
