Eight Cited at Simi Valley DUI Checkpoint
Simi Valley, Calif. – On March 13, 2026, four drivers were cited for driving without a license at a DUI checkpoint on March 13, 2026.
The DUI checkpoint was held at Erringer Road south of Cochran Street from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Four drivers were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license, 567 vehicles were contacted. Four other drivers were cited for other vehicle code violations.
DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on reported incidents of impaired driving-related crashes. The primary purpose of DUI checkpoints is to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off roads.
Funding for this checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Highway Patrol through the Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program.
