Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man in connection to a burglary incident.
On March 16th at approximately 11:30 a.m., a member of the Special Operations Division was flagged down in the 600 block of North Tatnall Street in reference to a burglary that occurred. Officers conducted an area canvas and located a subject matching the description in the 300 block of West 7th Street. Officers made contact with 45-year-old Eric Szulborski and took him into custody without incident, also recovering most of the property that had been stolen from the vehicle. Officers confirmed Szulborski was currently wanted for an outstanding warrant out of Kent County Superior Court.
Szulborski has been charged with the following offenses in addition to his outstanding warrant:
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Theft $1,500 or Greater
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
