Friendly reminder, for our Animal owners out there- as the city has been getting a lot of recent calls on animals "not on leash" and such charges will be passed onto the owner if the county has to board and feed the animals, per-
RSMo 205.010 [Bill No. 153, 5-8-2007] - DEFINITIONS:
ANIMAL AT LARGE: Any animal not restrained or confined to the premises occupied by its owner or keeper. An
Animal held by a leash when walking or running over any street, alley, thoroughfare, or public property within Merriam Woods City shall not be deemed at large.
RSMo 205.010 Public Nuisance [Bill No. 87, 11-13-2001]
Any animal or animal that unreasonably annoy humans, endanger the life or health of other animals or persons, or substantially interfere with the rights of citizens other than their owners to enjoyment of life and property.(specifics in the code)
