On March 19, 2026, at 3:06 a.m. Deputy Wes Baumgart conducted a traffic stop on a Beige 1997 Toyota Camry on US 41 near County Road 50 South after observing the driver commit a moving violation. During a roadside investigation illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized from the driver 60-year-old Tina Reid of Princeton. At the conclusion of the traffic stop Ms. Reid was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center where she was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Methamphetamines, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Princeton Officer Jackie Wood assisted Deputy Baumgart in his investigation.
