Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., reports the arrest of 21 individuals with outstanding warrants for violent offenses in the Newark Police Division’s February 2026 fugitive roundup.
“Out of this group of 21 individuals arrested with outstanding warrants, 16 were wanted on charges of weapon possession, and two were wanted for carjacking,” Director Miranda said. “I applaud the Newark Police Intelligence/Fugitive Section for its consistent, outstanding work in keeping Newark neighborhoods safe from violent offenders.”
