Road Improvements continue on Fulton Avenue between River Road and the Fulton Overpass.
To expedite construction activities and complete the project more efficiently, the road closure area is being expanded.
Increasing these closures now will significantly reduce the construction duration and allow for a faster return to normal traffic flow.
The Scope of the project includes
- On Fulton Avenue between the Colony Roundabout and Fulton Overpass, expanding the roadway from two lanes to four lanes with a median island.
- On Fulton Avenue between the Colony Roundabout and Fulton Overpass, adding a 6-foot sidewalk on the west side of the roadway.
- At the Colony Roundabout, Santos Roundabout, and intersection of Fulton Ave and Cindy Drive, adding pedestrian safety enhancements.
Traffic Impacts: Mar 23- April 6 **Access Save Mart shopping center using Frontage Road**
- Fulton Avenue will be open to traffic traveling in the northbound direction between West Colony Road and Cindy Drive.
- Fulton Avenue will be closed to traffic traveling in the southbound direction between West colony Road and Cindy Drive.
- The roundabout located at Colony Road and Fulton Ave will be open to traffic traveling in both eastbound and westbound directions.
- Fulton Avenue will be closed to traffic traveling in both northbound and southbound directions between West Colony Road and Arc Way.
Traffic Impacts: April 6 – April 18 **Access Save Mart shopping center either from Frontage Road or West Colony Road**
- Fulton Avenue will be open to traffic traveling in the northbound direction between Shasta Avenue and Cindy Drive.
- Fulton Avenue will be open to traffic traveling in the southbound direction between West Colony Road and Cindy Drive.
- The roundabout located at Colony Road and Fulton Ave will be open to traffic traveling in both eastbound and westbound directions.
- Fulton Avenue will be closed to traffic traveling in both northbound and southbound directions between West Colony Road and Arc Way.
