Activity for March 19, 2026: Officers responded to 68 calls for service, made 7 arrests, and 16 traffic stops.
- Officers were dispatched to West Ganson Street and North Jackson Street for a road rage incident. The victim was uncooperative, and the suspect vehicle was not located.
- Officer Brooker responded to the 1600 block of Lansing Avenue for a warrant arrest. A 29-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Jones and Officer Morse made contact with a subject in the 300 block of South West Avenue. The subject provided a false name, but officers were able to properly identify him. A 16-year-old male was lodged at JCYC on an outstanding juvenile warrant. Charges will be sought on the juvenile for resisting and obstructing, and disguising.
- Officer Brooker was dispatched to the 600 block of Edgewood Street for a fraud report.
- Officer Jones responded to the 1200 block of Merriman Street for a domestic assault report. The 34-year-old male suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located. Domestic assault charges will be sought on the male.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Blair Park Drive. A 33-year-old male was arrested for violation of a personal protection order, and an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Mills and Officer Panther responded to the 400 block of Harwood Street for a warrant pick-up. A 38-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.
- Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of First Street for a wanted subject in the area. A 15-year-old male was lodged at JCYC on an outstanding juvenile warrant.
- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 700 block of South Jackson Street. A 36-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Castro conducted a traffic stop at North Elm Street and East Michigan Avenue, and the vehicle fled. The driver crashed into a stop sign, and then fled on foot. Officers were able to quickly apprehend the driver. The 43-year-old male driver was arrested for resisting and obstructing; fleeing and eluding; fleeing the scene of an accident; possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle; driving with a suspended license; and driving while intoxicated – 3rd offense.
