INCIDENT: Traffic Collision
LOCATION: Chole Road and Pirinda Road, Apple Valley
DECEDENT: Jeremy Gonzales, 46-year-old male, resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at about 7:22 a.m., deputies with the Apple Valley Police Station responded to the intersection of Chole Road and Pirinda Road for a motorcycle left in the roadway. The motorcycle appeared to have been involved in a traffic collision; however, no rider or other involved parties were located at the scene. The motorcycle was towed from the location.
Later that day at about 3:06 p.m., deputies responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Chole Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive male on the front porch. Deputies arrived on scene and located the deceased male, identified as Jeremy Gonzales, who suffered from injuries consistent with a traffic collision. Based on the preliminary investigation, it is believed the deceased male was the rider of the motorcycle involved in the earlier collision at Chole Road and Pirinda Road.
The investigation remains ongoing and is pending autopsy results.
