Narrative:
  
Five suspects were arrested for a recent gang incident that occurred in the 600 block of Avenida De La Plata, in the city of Thousand Oaks. 
 
On March 9th, 2026, at approximately 10:39 PM, Thousand Oaks patrol deputies responded to the 600 block of Avenida De La Plata for a report of a disturbance that had just occurred.  Upon deputies’ arrival, they learned the suspects approached the victim’s residence and asked the victims if they were associated with a gang.  When the victim retreated into his residence, the suspects vandalized the victim’s residence by breaking a glass window as well as causing damage to the front door. The suspects fled on foot prior to the deputies’ arrival.
 
Detectives from the East County Special Enforcement Unit began investigating the incident and with the assistance of the Camarillo Special Enforcement Unit, were able to identify all suspects.  On the morning of March 20th, 2026, detectives with the East County Special Enforcement Unit and Camarillo Special Enforcement Unit served search warrants at multiple residences throughout the city of Camarillo and the city of Thousand Oaks. Multiple items of evidence related to the incident were recovered during these searches. 
  
Three male juvenile suspects were booked into the Ventura County Juvenile Justice Center on charges of 664/459, PC – Attempt Residential Burglary, 182(a)(1) PC – Conspiracy, 594(b)(1) PC – Vandalism, and 186.22(b)PC – Committing a Crime for the Benefit of a Criminal Street Gang.  A court date is pending for the three juveniles. Trystan Adame and Ricky Cervantes were booked into the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility on charges of 272(a)(1) PC – Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, 182(a)(1) PC – Conspiracy, 594(b)(1) PC – Vandalism, 664/459 PC – Attempt Residential Burglary, and 186.22(b)PC – Committing a Crime for the Benefit of a Criminal Street Gang.
