DATE/TIME: March 19, 2026, 3:14 p.m.

INCIDENT: Narcotics Seized After Pursuit

LOCATION: Navajo Road / State Highway 18, Apple Valley

SUSPECT(S): Bryan Snyder, 34-year-old male, Apple Valley

SUMMARY:

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, at about 3:14 p.m., deputies with the Apple Valley Gang Enforcement Team initiated a traffic stop on a white Kia K5 sedan for not having any license plates. The driver, later identified as Bryan Snyder, failed to yield and a pursuit ensued. During the pursuit, the Kia reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour, and ran stop signs.

The pursuit concluded when deputies lost sight of the vehicle near the intersection of Quinnault Road and Jelan Avenue. Shortly thereafter, Sheriff’s Dispatch notified units of a traffic collision at the intersection of Central Road and Ramona Avenue. Deputies arrived on scene and determined the vehicles involved included the Kia K5 that was in the pursuit. Snyder and the other involved parties at the scene were transported to local hospitals for their injuries.  Please click on link for related press release: “Three Vehicle Collision in Apple Valley Sends All Drivers to the Hospital; Investigation is Ongoing” from SBSD - Apple Valley Police Department : Nixle

Deputies searched the Kia K5 and located suspected narcotics and U.S. currency. To continue the investigation, deputies authored a search warrant for a residence in the 18000 block of Otomian Road, that was found to be related to Snyder. Deputies located approximately one kilogram of suspected cocaine, and four firearms.

Upon Snyder’s release from the hospital, the case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of charges.
