All remaining evacuation orders have been lifted as weather conditions continue to improve across Oahu. All emergency evacuation shelters except Kaneohe District Park are scheduled to close as of 6:00pm Saturday, March 21.
Any residents needing assistance should contact the Red Cross as 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767) or Aloha United Way by dialing 211. Call 911 if you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency.
Residents should use extreme caution when returning to evacuated areas.
- Watch for hazards when driving or cleaning up in affected areas. Injuries often occur after the immediate threat is over. Follow all instructions from first responders and crews in the area.
- Avoid contact with floodwater. Floodwater may contain debris, chemicals, or sewage.
- Watch for hazards such as debris, unstable surfaces, or damaged structures during cleanup.
