Winter Weather Advisory until 01:00AM Sunday 
...PERIODS OF SNOW FOR PARTS OF THE PANHANDLE THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT... .A heavy band of snow is moving through the panhandle, bringing a short period of heavy snow with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. While this band will move over relatively quickly, showers along the back side of the band will continue periods of light to moderate snow overnight. Temperatures are expected to start cooling again this evening into Sunday with bands of snow moving through the southern and central panhandle Sunday into Sunday night. Accumulations in the south will be the highest on the higher elevations of Prince of Wales Island midday Sunday, but will have more accumulations expected at sea level by Sunday evening and night as temperatures cool Sunday evening.
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest accumulations were with the initial heavy band of snow, but showers will continue through the night.
