At 214 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Amma to near South Charleston. Movement was east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Charleston, Clay, Jefferson, South Charleston, St. Albans, Dunbar, Sissonville, Montgomery, Chesapeake, Marmet, Belle, Clendenin, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Glasgow, Smithers, Gauley Bridge, Pratt, Pinch, and Birch River. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 1 and 59. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 96 and 112. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 50 and 57. West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 74 and 95. Route 119 between mile markers 66 and 80. Route 19 between mile markers 50 and 68.
