Dear Neighbors of the BP Whiting Refinery,
TODAY, Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:00 am central time, the Whiting refinery will be conducting routine alarm testing. The community may hear a series of short tones followed by a long tone. This is the refinery’s normal testing which occurs every Monday.
This is not an emergency situation. Our top priority is the safety of our employees, contractors and the community.
We apologize for any disruption this may cause our neighbors.
