Important Notice Regarding Scam Emails and Official Borough Communications

The Borough of Saddle River has been made aware of a scam involving fraudulent emails falsely claiming to be from the Borough.

Residents, applicants, and members of the public are urged to pay close attention to the sender of any email claiming to be from the Borough of Saddle River.

Please note that the Borough of Saddle River has recently transitioned from a .org domain to a .gov domain for added security and to help residents more easily identify legitimate Borough communications.

Going forward, any official email from the Borough of Saddle River will come from an email address ending in @saddleriver.gov.

This change is intended to provide greater confidence that communications received from the Borough are authentic and secure. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from the Borough, do not respond or send payment until you have confirmed it through official Borough channels.
