PC 422 - Criminal Threats
LOCATION: Broadway St. / Market St., Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Alberto Hermida, 38-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Sunday, March 22, 2026, deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police responded to a call for service regarding a disturbance involving a male subject who had reportedly returned to the neighborhood following a prior incident the day before.
Upon arrival, deputies identified the suspect as Alberto Hermida, the individual who had allegedly threatened the victim during the previous encounter. Deputies detained Hermida and conducted a search of his person and property. During the search, deputies located a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
Hermida was subsequently arrested on the above mentioned charges and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Hermida remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
