Who: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Chief Joe Mendoza, Commander Richard Ruiz, Homicide Bureau, Captain Arturo Spencer, Lieutenant German Ochoa, South Los Angeles Station Acting Captain Tania Giggles and family members of the victim.
What: The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects responsible for the murder of 48-year-old Marvin Randolph. A $10,000 reward, approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, has been offered for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of those responsible for Randolph’s murder.
On April 5, 2025, at approximately 2:17 p.m., deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of multiple gunshot victims at 11001 South Manhattan Place, located at the northwest corner of Manhattan Place and Lohengrin Street, in the unincorporated area of South Los Angeles.
When deputies arrived at the location, they discovered Marvin Randolph and several additional victims inside a garage. All the victims had sustained gunshot wounds. Randolph suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Tragically Randolph died at the scene.
