Barnegat Fire will be conducting a controlled burn along Pancoast Road on 3-25-26. May see residual smoke in area. 
Barnegat Fire Department will be conducting a very impactful and important prescribed burn along Pancoast road and adjacent county owned property tomorrow, March 25, 2026.
The communities that will be directly impacted will be Heritage Point, Mirage, and Pheasant Run due to the proximity of the communities along the Pancoast Rd. This will serve as a vital safety buffer against any wildfire occurring to the north.
