INCIDENT: P.C. 273.5(A) - Felony Spousal Abuse
LOCATION: 1400 block of Parker Dam Rd, Earp, CA
SUSPECT(S): Christopher Johnson, 57 Years Old, Resident of La Quinta, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, March 23, 2026, at approximately 10:18 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Parker Dam Road in Earp, CA., for a domestic disturbance that was reported to have occurred several days prior.
Upon arrival, deputies contated the suspect, identified as Christopher Johnson. During the course of the investigation, deputies determined Johnson had assaulted the victim, resulting in injuries. Johnson was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Johnson remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail set at $50,000.00, pending a court hearing.
