The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) would like to inform the community that the fitness center at Edgewood Recreation Center (301 Franklin Street, NE) is closed today, March 25, 2026. The recreation center remains open.
The temporary closure is necessary to allow for the delivery and installation of new fitness equipment.
Residents are welcome to contact DPR's Customer Care Center at (202) 673‑7647 during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). The call line is closed on weekends and holidays. You may also email us at [email protected].
