The City of Newark is hosting a FREE document shredding event on Saturday April 4, 2026 from 9AM-12PM at the City of Newark Corp Yard located at 37440 Filbert Street, Newark, CA 94560.
No appointment is needed; service will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
- The event is only open to Newark, CA residents and businesses.
- Identification and verification of residency is mandatory to participate (driver’s license, utility bill, etc.).
- Businesses will need to show a copy of their current City of Newark Business License.
- Newark residents will have the opportunity to bring up to two banker-sized boxes each (approximately 10-12”H x 12-14”w x 15 - 18”D) of documents.
