1. Weapons Arrest (2248) Flora Street and Sierra Nevada Street, Park District
Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop, the driver was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Christopher Gains, 34, for weapons charges.
2. Pursuit Arrest (0119) Hammer Lane and Tam O Shanter Drive, Valley Oak District.
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit. The pursuit ended when the driver fled on foot into the residence's backyard. Officers later found the suspect and took him into custody without further incident. ARRESTED: Joseph
Bailey, 19, for burglary, evading, and child endangerment.
3. Shooting into a dwelling (0210) 1000 block of Pilgrim Street, Park District.
The male victims, 28, 30, and 24, and the female victims, 57 and 32, and two juveniles were in their residence when it was struck by gunfire. There were no injuries reported. There was no suspect information.
4. Brandishing (0517) 300 block of South Center Street, Seaport District.
The employee victim, 25, and the suspect got into a physical altercation after the suspect trespassed onto the property and refused to leave. The suspect left but returned a moment later and brandished a firearm at the victim before fleeing the area. SUSPECT: Black male adult wearing all black clothing.
