Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 03/25/2026 at approximately 4:45 P.m., his deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle crash on Oil City Rd south of M62., Jefferson Township, Cass County Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Todd Willingham (66 years old from Mishawaka, IN) was southbound on Oil City Rd. when his vehicle left the roadway and impacted a tree. Willingham was pronounced dead at the scene.
Assisting agencies on scene were MSP, SMCAS EMS, and Cass Central Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
