The South Brunswick Township Police Department is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Youth Police Academy!
Location:
South Brunswick Police Department, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction
Eligibility:
Students entering 6th grade in September 2026
Session Dates:
• Session 1: July 13-17, 2026 (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Session 2: July 20-24, 2026 (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
About the Academy:
• Hands-on Crime Scene Investigations
• Arrest Procedures & Motor Vehicle Stops
• Fire Safety & Basic First Aid
• Police-issued uniform (t-shirt, shorts, and hat)
• Daily activities and group exercises
• Pizza lunch on Friday
• Graduation ceremony (families welcome!)
Application Deadline:
All applications must be submitted by May 1, 2026 to the South Brunswick Township Police Department, Community Policing Division.
Important:
Space is limited to 30 students per session – Apply early!
