Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured here in connection with a trespassing incident on March 20, 2026.
At approximately 2:15 a.m., the suspect was captured on surveillance video walking in the back yard of a victim’s home several times in the 100 block of Alexander Street.
The suspect, a Black male with short braided hair, has a thin build and was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt with a brown/orange logo, green camouflage pants, and white shoes.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
