Wilmington Police arrest women in connection to March 20th cutting incident:
Wilmington Police have arrested a woman in connection to a March 20th cutting incident following an investigation.
On March 20th at approximately 1:46 a.m., a member of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the Wilmington Hospital in reference to a cutting incident. Police located a 24-year-old female victim suffering from multiple cut wounds, who arrived at the hospital in stable condition. The case was assigned to Detective Thomas Rittenhouse of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation Detective Rittenhouse identified 32-year-old Tramika Perkins as the suspect and obtained warrants for her arrest.
On March 26th, officers executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Townsend Court and took Perkins into custody without incident.
Perkins has been charged with the following offenses:
- Assault (First Degree)
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony
