Our new garbage & recycling company will be in Hawthorne starting April 1st - "Affordable Cartage Inc." All collections will be the same as scheduled. Please check the website and our town calendar for more information about your scheduled pickup days.
The Bulk Garbage items will be collected on YOUR Garbage Day. You're allowed six (6) Bulky Items; such as: couches, mattresses, box springs, toilets, wood furniture.
Please DO NOT put at the curb with bulk: Metals, Appliances or Electronics (or anything with a plug) unless you call our DPW Recycling Office first: 973-427-5330 to be added to our scheduled list.
