McDOWELL COUNTY, NC – March 29, 2026 – Firefighters from multiple departments are currently on scene at the end of Calvin Drive responding to a fire involving several structures and a small section of nearby woods.
Crews are actively working to contain the fire and protect surrounding homes. At this time, there are no evacuation orders. Residents and motorists are urged to avoid the area to ensure the safety of emergency personnel.
