The Mahwah Water Dept. will start it's 2026 hydrant flushing program on Monday April 6, 2026. Flushing will be 9AM-3PM Mon,Tues,Thurs,Fri each week until complete. If you live in the area of a street that is scheduled to be flushed that day you may experience discolored water. To remedy this, only run the cold side of your faucets until clear. Avoid performing laundry during flushing hours. A list of streets being flushed will be sent out each morning.
