MARION MAN CHARGED WITH FELONY BURLARY AFTER PG INCIDENT
Deputy Angel Hernandez with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 29-year-old Christian David Powser of Marion with felony First Degree Burglary. He was initially denied bond due to already being out on pretrial release.
On March 23, deputies responded to a report of a breaking-and-entering in the P.G. area. The caller advised that Powser had broken a window of the residence in an attempt to enter the home and then left the area on foot after he was confronted.
Deputies searched the area and located Powser walking on P.G. Baptist Church Rd.
After an investigation by deputies, it was determined that Powser had attempted to enter the residence unlawfully.
He was placed in custody and transported to the McDowell County Detention Center for processing.
