Watch Commander's Night Report - March 29, 2026



CAD CALLS: 853

1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1830) 4100 Block of East Morada Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 21, was in the listed area when the suspects approached and pistol-whipped him before fleeing. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Three Black males.

2. Robbery (1950) 1800 Block of Marsh Street, Park District
The juvenile male victims were walking in the listed area when they were approached by the suspects, who demanded their property and assaulted them. The suspects fled on foot with the victim’s property. The victims declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic males and a Black male.

3. Resisting Arrest (2101) 1200 Block of East Bianchi Road, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to a trespassing complaint and tried to detain the suspect. The suspect resisted arrest and tried to pull away. An officer deployed a taser to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Emily Blair, 32, for trespassing and resisting arrest.

4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (2229) 1400 Block of South San Joaquin Street, Seaport
District
The female victim, 33, was driving in the listed area when the known suspects shot at the victim and then rammed their vehicle into hers. Officers located the suspects in the area and arrested them without incident. During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, officers located a loaded firearm. The victim suffered minor injuries
from the vehicle collision but declined medical attention. ARRESTED: Magiel Soto, 34, and Juan Soto, 18, for assault with a deadly weapon and weapon charges.

5. Person Shot (0014) 300 Block of South Filbert Street, Park District
The male victim, 39, was seated in his vehicle in the listed area when he was shot by an unknown suspect. The victim was able to drive away and was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: There is no suspect information.
