This is a reminder message from Clay County Water and Sewer Director, Dusty Beal.
There will be a scheduled water outage today, Monday, March 30, 2026, beginning at 5:00 pm and continuing until 8:00 am Tuesday, March 31, 2026. The scheduled water outage will affect the following areas: Highway 64 Business from the Copper Door and George's Paint and Hardware, Hiawassee Street, Hickory Street, and Fort Hembree Street. The purpose of the scheduled outage is to connect a new water line. If you have any questions, please call the Clay County Water and Sewer Office at 828-389-1361.
