Winter Storm Watch until 12:00PM Thursday
...LATE WINTER STORM IMPACTS THE AREA WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING... .A strong and wet system is moving through the area beginning Wednesday late evening and continuing through Thursday. Snow and sleet will begin Wednesday later evening, changing to freezing rain overnight. Ice accumulations are expected and will continue into Thursday morning. Temperatures will warm Thursday afternoon and only rain will be expected. Travel is expected to be impacted.
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible Northcentral Wisconsin. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations between two tenths and three tenths of an inch possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Clark and Taylor Counties.
* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Significant ice accumulation on power lines and tree limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting power outages.
* AFFECTED AREAS: TAYLOR ... CLARK
