* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Kendall and Will.
* WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 253 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to 1 to 2 inches of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Joliet, Romeoville, Plainfield, Lockport, New Lenox, Homer Glen, Mokena, Yorkville, Crest Hill, Shorewood, Newark, Fairmont, Crystal Lawns, Millington, Millbrook and Plattville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
