UPDATE: Homicide Detectives Investigating Shooting Death of Adelanto Man, Release Suspect Descriptions

DATE:  February 15, 2026, at 12:24 a.m.

INCIDENT: PC 187 – Murder

LOCATION: 11200 Block of Auburn Avenue, Adelanto

SUSPECT(S): Unknown

VICTIM(S): Dajon Session, 26-years-old, Resident of Adelanto

UPDATE:

Witnesses came forward and provided descriptions of the suspects involved. Witnesses described the suspects as Black males, wearing hoodies, sweatpants, some wearing masks, some with long styled hair.

SUMMARY: On Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 12:24 a.m., Victor Valley Station Deputies responded to the 11200 block of Auburn Avenue, in Adelanto reference shots fired at the location. Deputies arrived and located Dajon Session with a suspected gunshot wound. Session was pronounced deceased at the scene by American Medical Response (AMR) personnel. 

The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail also responded to the location and assumed the investigation.
