* At 750 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain with rainfall rates over 2 inches per hour. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain has fallen in the last 20 to 30 minutes. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Walton, Delhi, Deposit, Davenport, Roxbury, Colchester, Meredith, Andes, Stamford, Hobart, Franklin, Meridale, Downsville, Corbett, East Meredith, Bovina Center, Harvard, Sidney Center, Kortright and Hamden.
