FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM EDT /1230 AM CDT/
WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northern Indiana, including
the following counties, in north central Indiana, Kosciusko. In
northern Indiana, Adams, Allen IN, Fulton IN, Huntington, La
Porte, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, Starke, Wabash, Wells and
Whitley.
* WHEN...Until 130 AM EDT /1230 AM CDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 920 PM EDT /820 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small
stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Wayne, Huntington, New Haven, Warsaw, Plymouth, Decatur,
Columbia City, Rochester, North Manchester, Winona Lake,
Knox, Ossian, Winamac, Tri-lakes, Huntertown, Bourbon,
Churubusco, North Judson, South Whitley and Argos.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
