Simi Valley, CA — The Simi Valley Police Department, in partnership with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, will be conducting a planned law enforcement drone operation this morning, April 1, 2026, in the Texas Tract area of Simi Valley.
This activity is related to a missing person investigation originating from 2025. The drone will be used to assist investigators with aerial observations and search efforts in the area.
Community members may notice the presence of the drone during this operation. This is a coordinated and authorized law enforcement activity, and there is no cause for public concern.
