Register for cheer tryouts starting on April 6

Registration for Hoboken Cheer Tryouts for the Cheer 2025–2026 season will open on Monday, April 6, at 5 p.m. https://hoboken.recdesk.com/Community/Home.

Hoboken Cheer is a competitive nine-month program that includes three to four practices per week, including weekends, as well as weekend travel in and out of state. Parent or guardian attendance is required at competitions and meets. Participants must have basic tumbling skills and must attend both tryout dates, which will take place on May 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and May 15 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center at 124 Grand St.

The program is open to participants from 5- to 15-year-olds. The registration fee is $30 for residents and $60 for non-residents, and the fee is waived for participants eligible for free or reduced lunch.

Register for adult indoor pickleball on April 10

Registration for Hoboken Adult Spring Indoor Pickleball will also open on April 10, at 5 p.m. at https://hoboken.recdesk.com/Community/Home. This program is open to adult residents, and the registration fee is $60.

Register for summer recreation programs April 13 

Registration for Hoboken Summer Recreation Programs will open on Monday, April 13,  at 5 p.m. at https://hoboken.recdesk.com/Community/Home.

Programs will begin the weeks of July 6 and Aug. 6 and are open to youth and adult participants across a variety of sports and activities.

Youth Baseball (Mondays & Wednesdays) and Softball (Tuesdays & Thursdays) programs for ages 6 to 12 will be held at Sgt. Fesken Field.

Basketball programs will take place at Murray Gym and include:
• Co-ed Grades 3–4: Mondays & Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
• Girls Grades 5–8: Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
• Boys Grades 5–6: Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
• Boys Grades 7–8: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Adult Pick-Up Basketball will be offered on Fridays from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. at Murray Gym.

Gymnastics for children ages 5 to 12 will be held weekly at the Multi-Service Center. Classes are offered Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Participants may only register for one day per week.

Cheer Clinics will take place at the Multi-Service Center, Monday through Thursday from 1:30 to 4 p.m., beginning the week of July 6.
