Convicted Felon Arrested with Firearm; Second Suspect Booked for Assault in Rancho Cucamonga

DATE/TIME: March 31, 2026 at 6:31 p.m.

INCIDENT: PC29800(A)(1) - Felon in possession of a firearm
                   PC30305(A)(1) - Prohibit own ammo
                   HS11370.1(A) - Possession of a controlled substance while armed
                   PC245(A)(1) - Assault with a deadly weapon, not a firearm
                   PC422(A) - Criminal Threats


LOCATION: 9000 Block of Placer St, Rancho Cucamonga

SUSPECT(S): Clyde Aimhotept Williams, 33-year-old male, Resident of Alta Loma
                        Jalayze Bolanos, 25-year-old female, Resident of Sacramento

VICTIM(S): State of California

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at approximately 6:31 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service reference a disturbance.

Deputies arrived on scene and located both suspects, later identified as Clyde Aimhotept Williams, and Jalayze Bolanos at the location. During the investigation, deputies learned Williams was a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing guns or ammunition. A search of Williams’ person was conducted, and ammunition was located. An inventory of Williams’ vehicle was also conducted, and a loaded handgun was found in the vehicle. Through investigation, it was learned that the suspects were involved in an altercation. During the altercation, Bolanos threw a metal pot at Williams, which struck him.

Williams was later arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC29800(A)(1)-Felon in possession of a firearm, PC30305(A)(1)- Prohibit to own ammo, and HS11370.1(A)- Possession of a controlled substance while armed. Bolanos was later arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC245(A)(1)- Assault with a deadly weapon, not a firearm, and PC422(A)- Criminal Threats
