Flood Advisory until 02:00AM Thursday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri, Pettis. In west central Missouri, Henry and Johnson.

* WHEN...Until 200 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 950 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sedalia, Clinton, Windsor, La Monte, Smithton, Green Ridge, Calhoun, Deepwater, Houstonia, Coal, Hughesville, Brownington, Tightwad and Sedalia Memorial Arpt. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
