Activity for April 1, 2026:
- Officers conducted a traffic stop near Steward Avenue and Trail Street. The 20-year-old male driver was arrested for a parole violation. Officers recovered a stolen firearm and narcotics from the driver. Additional charges will be sought on the driver for carrying a concealed weapon, receiving and concealing stolen property, and possession of narcotics.
- Officer Fitzpatrick responded to the 600 block of West Michigan Avenue for an assault report.
- Officer Richardson conducted a traffic stop near West Louis Glick Highway and North Blackstone Street. A 29-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop at East Biddle Street and South Mechanic Street. The 24-year-old male driver was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officer Mills made contact with a subject in the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue. A 28-year-old female received a citation for resisting and obstructing.
