Beginning the week of April 6th and continuing through early June, contractors for the NJ Turnpike Authority, with Burlington County approval, will perform critical roadway improvements on Cedar Lane (CR 659). This work includes widening the "whirlybird" curve, installing new guiderails, paving, and line striping.

Due to the nature of the work and the presence of large trucks, only one lane will be available for the duration of the project.

The Detour Route (Heading toward Route 130):
• Start: The detour begins at the roundabout on Cedar Lane.
• Direction: From the roundabout, traffic will be diverted onto Railroad Avenue.
• Turn: Follow Railroad Avenue to Delaware Avenue (CR 656).
• Destination: Follow Delaware Avenue to reach US Route 130.
• NJ Turnpike Access: To reach Interchange 6A, turn right onto southbound US Route 130.

Key Traffic Information:
• One-Way Access: Motorists can enter the work zone on Cedar Lane when traveling toward town from Route 130. However, no traffic will be permitted to travel toward Route 130 from the roundabout.
• Police Assistance: Police officers will be stationed at key intersections (including the Railroad Avenue/Delaware Avenue turn) to assist with traffic flow, particularly for large trucks, and to monitor the railroad crossing.
• Expect Delays: Please plan ahead, seek alternate routes if possible, and anticipate travel delays during peak periods.

The project is expected to last approximately 6 weeks, including the final milling and paving operations. We appreciate your patience as these necessary safety and infrastructure improvements are completed.
