Wilmington Police have arrested a man on a gun charge following a vehicle stop.
On March 27th at approximately 10:39 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division conducted a vehicle stop in the area of East 12th and Thatcher Streets in reference to a traffic violation. Officers made contact with 32-year-old Antoine Demonia and took him into custody without incident. Officers recovered a loaded .9mm handgun.
Demonia has been charged with the following offense:
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $1,000 unsecured-bail.
