In support of the Yankees Opening Day, there will be multiple street closures in The Bronx, at the discretion of the NYPD. The closures will be in effect on 4/3.
The following streets will be closed:
In The Bronx:
- Area bounded by East/West 169th Street on the North; East 138th Street on the South; Grand Concourse on the East; Harlem River on the West
- Major Deegan Expressway between Van Cortlandt Park South & Bruckner Expressway
- Bruckner Expressway between Major Deegan Expressway & RFK Bridge
- Willis Avenue Bridge
- Third Avenue Bridge
- Madison Avenue Bridge
- 145th Street Bridge
- Macombs Dam Bridge
In Manhattan:
- West 155th Street between Riverside Drive and Macombs Dam Bridge
- Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard between West 135th Street and Macombs Dam Bridge
Consider alternate routes and allow for additional travel time. Additional road closures in the surrounding area are possible.
