* At 858 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Navy Pier to near Lockport, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include... Chicago, Joliet, Hammond, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Calumet City, Englewood, South Shore, Roseland, Chicago Lawn, Burbank, Oak Forest, Harvey, Lockport, New Lenox, Homer Glen, Blue Island, Dolton, Homewood, Alsip, Mokena, Palos Hills, Ashburn, and Chatham.
