On Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, located at 26201 Golden Valley Road, Santa Clarita, will host a prescription drug collection event, as part of the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Residents are encouraged to safely and anonymously dispose of expired or unused prescription medications. Proper disposal helps prevent accidental overdoses, keeps medications out of the hands of those for whom they were not prescribed, and protects the local water supply from contamination.
Take this opportunity to clean out your medicine cabinet and bring unneeded prescriptions for safe disposal, no questions asked.
